Armando David Vacca was 19 years old when his father died. He quickly learned that his family was not prepared for that event and had done little to plan for the future. This was the beginning, the genesis, of a calling to help families plan for all aspects of their financial future.
After graduating from Hamilton's Mohawk college with Honours in Business Administration, as well as obtaining the necessary licensing and accreditation, Armando, in 1988, opened Money Concepts (Stoney Creek) and after five years changed the name of the firm to one that bears his family name - A.D. Vacca & Associates Financial Planning Group. As the firm enters into it's 23rd year of operation, it is committed to receiving those referred to them as well as serving over 1,300 families from various walks of life.
Armando is both a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Registered Financial Planner (R.F.P.). He is an on-going member of Advocis (formerly Canadian Association of Financial Planners), the Financial Planners Association (FPA), the Independent Financial Brokers of Canada (IFBC), the Canadian Association of Pre-Retirement Planners (CAPP), member of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC) and founding member of Advisors with Purpose.
He also served as the President of the Hamilton / Niagara Chapter of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners (now Advocis) for two years. Armando has also been featured in "Success Stories - Business Achievement in Greater Hamilton and Beyond" and it's sequel "Enterprise 2000 - Embracing the New Millenium." He co-authored "The Magic of Success - Financially Fit for Life" and is a contributor to "He's Alive II - Stories of Faith Conversion and Renewal."
Armando has various speaking engagements during the year and has been a frequent guest of Christian radio's WDCX 99.5 FM and Christian Television's "100 Huntley Street", "Nite-lite" and CTS's "On-the-line."
He’s also host of the “Kingview Financial Corner – with A.D. Vacca” A regular 15min segment on Saturday mornings, on Christian radio’s WDCX FM 99.5. It airs at 8:15 Saturday mornings. Listen in to the latest show in our radio archive section.
